A chaotic deconstruction of traditional stage magic. In Lady Magic, the illusions serve the clowning, deliberately breaking the rules of misdirection to subvert the historical dynamic between the magician and the assistant.
Developed by American comedy provocateur Natalie Palamides and Las Vegas-based circus producers Spiegelworld, the project premiered at the 2025 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The studio was brought in to direct the magical elements—engineering "failed" illusions, comedic mayhem, and desperate disappearances that required precise technical execution to safely appear foolish.
